Under 10 Seconds per Log

Log in seconds. Never weigh your food.

Nobody wants to weigh 120 grams of rice or search 50 brands of coconut milk. PushMe makes logging friction-free so you actually stick with it.

STEP 01

Type or snap

Say what you ate in natural language: "2 eggs and a bowl of noodles" or "Rice and curry with chicken and dhal". Or snap a photo in 1 second.

User Input:
"Chicken kottu from street shop"
STEP 02

Answer 1–2 simple questions

Only questions you can actually see: Where did you eat? (Home, street shop, hotel buffet) and Did you finish it? PushMe infers the hidden coconut milk and oil from where you ate.

PushMe Asks:
Where was this prepared? → [Street Shop]
STEP 03

Get a range, tap save

Honest about uncertainty: "about 650–800 kcal, logged as 720". Tap Smaller, Same, or Bigger to adjust without typing numbers. Repeat meals save in one tap.

Saved Result:
Logged as 720 kcal [Saved ✓]
The Real Food Superpower

Calorie tracking that finally understands real meals.

Western calorie apps expect plain chicken breast and steamed broccoli, and fall apart on real home cooking, rich curries, and takeout. PushMe understands multi-ingredient plates by where and how they were cooked — and handles standard gym meals just as easily.

Chicken Kottu (Single Plate)

POPULAR

Godamba roti chopped on the griddle with chicken curry, leeks, onions, and eggs.

🏠 Home-cooked (light oil) ~900 kcal
🏪 Street Spot (heavy roti & oil) ~1,035 kcal
🍽️ Hotel / Restaurant ~1,080 kcal
💡 Why it varies: Street kottu uses additional oil to flip and flaky godamba roti which spikes calories by ~250 kcal.

Rice & Curry (Fish / Chicken)

STAPLE

Steamed red or white rice served with fish or chicken, dhal, pol sambol, and 2 vegetable curries.

🏠 Home (household cooking style) ~740 kcal
🏪 Bath Kade / Street Shop ~851 kcal
🏨 Hotel Buffet Spread ~962 kcal
💡 Why it varies: Coconut milk thickness in the kiri hodi and dhal plus the volume of rice served.

String Hoppers (10 pcs) + Sambol

BREAKFAST

Steamed rice flour nests served with spicy pol sambol and coconut milk gravy (kiri hodi) or dhal.

🍽️ 10 string hoppers, plain ~350 kcal
➕ With dhal curry ~530 kcal
➕ With pol sambol +90 kcal
💡 Why it varies: The hoppers themselves are steamed and lean, so where you ate them barely matters. What you put beside them does — the dhal and the grated coconut carry most of the calories.

Egg Roti & Parotta

EVENING

Flaky folded godamba roti grilled with egg, onions, green chillies, served with gravy.

🏠 Home (1 egg roti, pan-seared) ~300 kcal
🏪 Street Stall (oil-basted) ~345 kcal
🫓 Parotta (per piece, home) ~260 kcal
💡 Why it varies: Ghee or palm oil layered into the dough for flakiness.

Short Eats (Fish Rolls & Patties)

SNACK

Spiced mackerel and potato filling in crumbed breaded rolls, deep fried until golden.

🥖 Chinese roll (1 pc, street) ~299 kcal
🥟 Patty (1 pc, street) ~230 kcal
☕ 2 rolls + milk tea ~688 kcal
💡 Why it varies: Breadcrumb oil absorption during deep-frying — which is why a street-shop roll is priced higher than a home-made one.

Hoppers (Plain & Egg)

DINNER

Bowl-shaped fermented rice batter pancakes with crispy coconut edges and soft sponge centers.

🥞 Plain hopper (1 pc) ~90 kcal
🍳 Egg hopper (1 pc) ~160 kcal
🥥 Milk hopper (1 pc) ~130 kcal
💡 Why it varies: Plain hoppers are very light; egg and sweet treacle change the macro profile completely.
Everywhere else too

Your Tuesday pasta is in there as well.

The deep, venue-aware table above is what nothing else has. But nobody eats only rice and curry — so steaks, carbonara, mac and cheese, caesar salads, burritos, ramen, bagels and lattes are all in the same table, priced the same deterministic way. Whether you are in Colombo, Toronto, London or Melbourne, ordinary food logs in one line.

Spaghetti carbonara 850 Ribeye steak 560 Mac and cheese 550 Chicken caesar 560 Burrito 700 Ramen 550 Bagel & cream cheese 380 Latte 190
A Coach, Not a Diary

Every week it tells you why your weight moved.

A calorie diary just records numbers. PushMe is an adaptive coach: it compares what you logged against your morning weight trend and adjusts your calorie targets mathematically.

Consistency Over Accuracy

An estimate doesn't need to be lab-perfect; it just needs to be consistent. If you always log your lunch at 700 kcal when it's really 850 kcal, the weekly weight trend mathematically absorbs and corrects that difference.

No Smartwatch Guesstimates

Fitness watches can be off by 40% on calories burned. PushMe does not trust watch burn stats. It calculates your true energy expenditure purely from what you eat and what the scale says over time.

Firm On Habits, Never Shaming On Food

PushMe never calls food "bad" or makes you feel guilty for enjoying kottu or biryani. The coach pushes you on your habits — logging meals and morning weigh-ins — not on what you ate.

Your photos are read and discarded — never stored.

When you take a photo of your meal, PushMe passes it securely to the AI model to identify dishes, extracts the portions, and permanently deletes the photo immediately. We do not store food images or build photo surveillance libraries. Everything lives in a local SQLite database on your phone first, so the app works with no signal at all.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about PushMe's estimation approach, local foods, and privacy.

How accurate is PushMe if I don't weigh my food?
PushMe is built on the principle of consistency over accuracy. The estimate does not need to be lab-perfect; it needs to be steady. If you log a dish consistently, any small estimation difference gets mathematically absorbed and corrected by your weekly weight trend. When the coach sees your weight move up or down over 14 days, it adjusts your target to match reality.
Do I ever need to buy a digital food scale?
No. People who are forced to weigh grams of curry, coconut milk, and rice stop logging after a week. PushMe only asks what the eater can actually see with their eyes: where you ate (home, street shop, hotel buffet), portion size, and whether you finished it. PushMe infers the hidden oils and sauces from the place.
Does PushMe work offline?
Yes. PushMe is built local-first on SQLite (via Drift), so your meal history, weight records and repeat meals ("same as usual") all work with no internet connection. Only photo reading needs the network — type the dish instead and everything still works. Encrypted cloud backup and multi-device sync are in development and are not part of the beta, so please treat your phone as the only copy for now.
Which meals and cuisines does PushMe's database support?
PushMe supports everyday global foods, western gym staples, and restaurant takeout, with deep calibration for complex home cooking and South Asian cuisine: chicken and beef kottu, string hoppers, hoppers, pol sambol, red and white rice & curry, dhal, parotta, egg roti, lamprais, short eats (fish rolls, patties, cutlets), and street snacks. It specifically differentiates between light home-cooked preparations and oil-heavy street shop ('bath kade') or restaurant dishes.
What happens to the photos I take of my meals?
Your photos are read and discarded — never stored. Food photos are compressed, passed to the AI model strictly to parse the dishes on your plate, and deleted immediately. We never store photos on our servers or build public image datasets from your meals.
Is PushMe considered medical or dietetic advice?
No. PushMe is an educational and behavioral calorie tracking tool. It enforces strict biological safety guardrails: a hard calorie floor that prevents dangerously low deficits, and a cap on maximum weekly weight loss rate. Users with medical conditions or eating disorders should consult a licensed healthcare professional.
